His role in your care pathway

The consultation helps us understand your situation and discuss whether surgery may have a place among the possible treatments. Any operation is decided collectively by the multidisciplinary team, with you. Medication, nutritional support and physical activity may also be part of your care pathway.

Surgery and innovation

Robot-assisted surgery is one of the techniques used to perform certain operations. Whether it is used depends on the operation and on your situation.

Dr Fournier is a proctor (trainer) for the robot-assisted surgery platform used at Hôpital de Nyon: he supports other surgeons as they learn this technique3.
